When we bought our house a builder had created an en-suite bathroom using some of the original bathroom and part of the bedroom. The original toilet appears to be in the ensuite.

The problem we have is that 'waste' from the original toilet does not always flush away - it tends to flush into the toilet in the adjacent bathroom.

What action is needed to rectify this problem?

Thanks

what is the position of both these toilets in relation to the soil pipe?
