we had a grant condensing boiler fitted last year, the lad works for a heating company and said would fit it. when he did he put the pipes all through the flue hole of the last inside boiler we had copper pipes all laid on top of each other. there was an electrical cable running through a copper pipe and hot and cold water pipes laid on top of each other. i realised this shouldnt be right so contacted a plumbing friend of ours which went mad, he said it was dangerous, lazy not acceptable and the pipes should have thier own bore hole, insulated and the electrical one should be put into a plastic pipe. so the lad came back sorted the pipes as advised and was meant to fit the condensing pipe and the soakaway also the plate for the hole (where flue could be changed round) as he had lost it. we went on holiday and this was meant to have been done came back nothing been done, we never hardly heard anything i kept asking about when it would be done and kept getting fobbed off. i felt you have had our money and not interested anymore. then we have recently found out that he has not had an electrician to sign off the electrical cables and has signed that he has done it to requirements, the boiler is not earth bonded, he has not put the micro filter and stop switch on for the manufacturer's recommendations for installation, the soakaway was not done neither was the condense pipe and didnt register the boiler for warranty where do we go from here
