Hi there - my first post on this site.
Potentially a bit of a funny question, but I want to fit an outside tap to the front of a terraced house. Problem is, all of the existing pipework that is exposed is at the rear of the house, and the whole ground floor has just had expensive oak flooring put down.
Is there any way that anyone can think of to plumb in a tap at the front without having to take up the flooring (which I'm guessing will ruin the finish on the floor)?
The mains water supply runs under the street at the front of the house, so presumably somewhere there must be a pipe under the front garden linking that to the rear of the house - might it be possible to connect a tap to this from the outside of the house at the front?
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.
