overflow

hi can anybody tell me what i can use to blank an old overflow pipe off inside a cistern, ive cut the old overflow out and fitted a syphon with internal overflow. Cant get blanks from anywhere unless i buy a cistern.

either a blank from tool station or just fill it with silicone
