Not too sure if it is what i've called it (overflow). The last few days water has been dripping out of the overflow (plastic pipe leading out of the watertank to outside) in the attic, can anyone confirm what the problem may be?

Check your float valve in the cold water tank. It is probably sticking due to the cold weather. It might need cleaning out or replacing. You can get repair sets at most big sheds/plumbers merchants.

thanks the cold weather makes sense cos it has only started doing it since the big freeze.
