Hi - am installing an overhead (through the celing) shower head but have to fit an easy plumb tray, have a lowish celing anyway and have overboarded it - so haven't a lot of room for the down pipe / arm bit.The ones I've seen are Chrome 165mm drop (Hudson Reed) or a non branded 120mm. Both have a collar where they go through but does anyone know can this collar slide down (more of the pipe sits up in the loft space) & shortens the drop? The Hudson one is more (twice as much as the other) but has more pipe (120mm or so I think to play with in the loft) whereas the cheaper one has just 40mm of 1/2 " thread - so the other Q is do I need all the extra or can I make it secure with just the right set up & fittings?Hope that's clear.Cheers in advance.
