Hi

I am replacing a low level wc for a client, thats all fine but what i am puzzled about is size of the opening the pan connector runs into which appears to be wider than the connector. Can i get some sort of shroud to enclose the opening.

Thanks in anticipation

Do you mean the flushpipe? You can get either a rubber bung which goes in the back or a shroud which goes over a knobble at the back of the pan if present.

Hi WHPES

Unfortunately i cant download an image i have. Im refering to the end of the pan connector that enters the ground that is surrounded by a wider piece of drain. This is what i thought would need some sort of shroud to seal it off as it looks unfinished in its present state.

finish it with some sand and cement put some newspaper in first to stop any dropping through

Only cement the top 1/2" otherwise if you need to get it out again it's a pain.

If its what i think it is you can grind the lip off to ground level and put pan connector straight in the hole , looks neater ..

Nice one guys, great advice, all sorted now many thanks

i had one last friday, so i used a tube of silicone and glued it in.
the pan connector is about 5mm bigger than the cast pipe bore?.
