Part no: 225149: Baxi Flame Device/Gas Tap Concentric TE/SA 809

I am looking for this obselete part; am helping my elderly Mum's engineer in trying to find one - in order that he can fix her Baxi Bermuda fire - she is too elderly now - 92 - to go through the upheaval of a new system being installed. Any advice of where I may find one gratefully received.

think you will struglle with that one fella , not many engineers would fit used parts which i recon is your best chance of finding one

Interpart might be able to help, their website's Interpart one of their stockist might still have that part - or know where to find it

Many thanks I will give them a try; trouble is I think if anyone has this part - it will be old stock - at the back of a shelf somewhere - and perhaps whoever has in - won't be on-line! Keep thinking I should just plough through yellow pages and ring up places. Thanks anyway.

Have you got any more infirmation on name / model of fire, do you mean gas tap or flame failure device.

The engineer referred to it as a gas tap (but I just copied the above on what from the Installation and Servicing Instuctions page: the fire is a Baxi Bermuda LFE 3 Super CAT 1 - Nat Gas; GC number 37 077 16; and the GC No of the part is 155987.

Sorry been looking through some old parts books, been on baxi site some parts still avail but this gas tap is discontinued,
keep look out for some one getting rid of old gas fire. Try calling local Parts Center and give them information may have one sitting around in a branch somewere.
