part p cost

Hi guys just wondering what the average is for doing your part p and if anyone has heard of impending changes that may mean we only need a lesser qualification?

A think its about £700

Ask the sparkies on their forum, I think its just another course to cough out more money for so I just use a tame sparks as and when required. I dont require them to wire up s and y plans though as having been taught that as a plumber I tend to feel we should continue to wire them in ok, just pop onto the sparks forum if you want proof that diy is best

Im starting a contract that requires me to do it or provide a spark but theres not enough money in it to justify paying a spark on every job
