Hi all I was wondering if anyone could recommend any part time courses in the Leicester area, I am currently in full time employment but looking to train as a plumber

So you think it is possible to learn plumbing (would you like to do heating & gas as well ?) part time, what would you like to do a couple of hours an evening a week ?? How many years have you got ??????? I have been studying it full time for 34 years now & I am still learning. What makes you think it can be done on a short course at a so called training centre.
I don't know any in Leicester but best thing is to go for the most expensive one, something like 4-5K min & shortest time as it must be the best.
I am sorry, but read the threads on here about what it is really like to work & train as a proper plumber in this day & age &
I would count yourself luckily to have full time employment, the majority of the plumbers on here don't !!!!!!!!!

Sorry did I say a fast track course erh NO, I was thinking maybe a couple or three years three or four nights a week?

Why ?? you have a full time job ! why come into somthing that is going down the pan fast :toilet: the market is over run with Plumbers, all thinking they will make a fortune, it costs a stack of money just to get started, Just waiteing for next influx of Eastern block labour flooding into UK, Stick to what you have, The grass IS-NOT greener on the other side, Look through some of the threads on here and see how meny experanced guys are giveing it up, Why do you think that is ??????

Haha!! These posts are funny!! Serious note: there are FAR TOO many plumbers! If your planning on doing a few hours per evening, it wont take you 3/4 years. It will take you at least 8!!

Alot of us are working a few days a week because the work out ther has dryed up!
