Philmac Fittings

I've just got some 20 &25mm philmac fittings they are not the latest type they don't have the wedges to stop the pipe rotating like the new ones .

What I am trying to find out is should they have an O ring in like the new ones do .

yes the old ones have a tapered nut so you can see which one you have
