Hello folks
I am looking at getting a pipe expander and need your knowledge;) Are 1/2 inch and 15mm expander heads approx. the same specs, or is 1/2 " head for aircon tubing with 1/2" O.D. ? I want to expand 1/2 copper irish(14.7mm O.D.) slightly so I get a nice tight fit when pushed into an endfeed. I am basically making a filter out of copper pipe and does not need to be watertight, just snug fit in the endfeeds and be able to take it apart. I think a pipe expander is the best option, crimping endfeeds is not ideal. What do you guys think?
cheers

Seen them for sale but IMO not worth the money. Far easier to use a capillary solder fitting. What difference is it to solder 2 sides as opposed to just 1. You still have to heat it up.

yep they are a handy tool,i use them to expand irish 1/2 inch solder elbows to fit on to the english size copper tails that comes with most kitchen sink taps
