Pipes reducing Dishwasher depth

Hi after some advice. I am buying a property - refurbished - they have put in a kitchen with space for a slimline dishwasher. There is sufficient height and width but the large plastic pipe behind redues the depth to 53cm when most freestanding machines are 60cm. I am worried this will stick out too far and look stupid but wanted views if I can do anything about the pipework or that's how it just is.

Have you checked to see about the service cavity for the freestanding dishwasher and how much that can absorb?

is the 530mm depth to the worktop over hang or the front of the units?

majority of free standing slimline dishwashers are 550mm deep so would sit within the typical 20mm overhang of the worktop. Unless you've already measured to that.

If I was you I would get accurate measurements and go into currys and get a feel for where it would actually sit.

Thanks all. The worktop is 60cm deep from the wall but the distance from the plastic pipe to where the worktop ends is only 53 cm. Integrated dishwashers are 55cm+ but I have struggled to find freestanding less than 59/60cm.

Either find one that fits or…

Chase wall a bit and sink pipes into it.

Or can sink waste go directly to outside below sink?
