if you find a mesh type plastic open and shut air vent in a situation were it does affect combustion or flame picture, flueing etc, what would you do a.r or n.c.s.the situation i found it in was a back boiler, fire and the ventilation requirments were adequate other than the un suitable vent

If it is not effecting combustion then I would class it as AR - I have started to keep these as spares on the van as I am finding this more and more since I have been self employed.
