Hi, this is my first question to the forum.
I really hope you can help.
I have a flat in Poland that's an empty shell at the moment, next week I am going to try :) and install a shower and toilet.

My main question is how to connect to the shower waste to the wall, I have enclosed 2 pics of this connection (bottom left / bottom middle, bottom right of picture) however it's covered with some protective plastic I think (pic's were sent by brother in law).

Would this be a solvent weld type connection or other connection, does anyone know what size this probably is and how to connect to it from shower waste tray.

Also are the red and blue things on the far right picture protective covers for the pipework, if so do you know what size the pipes will be underneath. Basically the pipe sizes most commonly used in Poland.

I think Poland has slightly different pipe sizes than the UK can this be confirmed, I think the Toilet (cold) connection is 12mm.
Thank you in advance for any replies and advice.
George

The blue and red things are 1/2" plastic plugs to stop any plaster/render entering the pipework the toilet will be a 3/8 thread you will get flexis in this size or adaptors to 12mm to use chrome copper use a 1/2 to3/8 shut valve. The waste will be 40mm slightly smaller than our 1 1/2 pipe

Many thanks for your time in replying to this dozzy question.
Perhaps I would be better buying the accesories in Poland, I was looking at toilet traps today.
Just one quick thing, so hopefully under these blue & red things should be some copper or plastic pipe's, is that the case.
Sorry Markfxy I'm taking advantage of your knowledge.

Regards
George.
