Hi, I just get this air receiver but I have 2 welded pipe on which is impossible for me to find out what type is it
Thanks all help

Looks like either 11/4 or 11/2 bsp (I would say 11/4)

And you will need a female iron if you want to use copper

Thanks. I would to block this out. Not in use. But any end cap which I bought is not much 1-1/2 is spinning the diameter is 1,5mm bigger and the rest is to small.

What was running into it originally

I don't think its a thread ! thats some sort of push fitting, Proberly held on with a clip or grub screw

Have you tried an 11/4 nut

Contact Jerome and quote the serial number, looks to me like a specialist connector.
Don`t understand why you want to blank it off but that is your business also be aware that it is 18yrs old so if you are going to pressurise it I would pay to have it tested first.
Wouldn`t play with a 216L pressurised tank with a test pressure of 25 Bar unless you are 100% certain.

According to my BSP data the dimension over the threads (which you calipered) is 1.66" for 1-1/4"BSP, 1.88" for 1-1/2"BSP. Yours falls just about in the middle! I wasn't aware of a 1-3/8"BSP, but trying metric pipe thread on the web that size is shown. Metric pipe thread is of course based on BSP, though they give it names like G1, R3/4 etc. That might be it, but if it is, I think you'd have trouble finding a 1-3/8"BSP female fitting.
As somebody suggested, it might be part of a threaded union, but checking on the Nero site, it only gives the end connection size, not the dismantleable part. That might be a BSP thread, but it could be something else, it obviously doesn't matter as you normally have both parts. It looks as if a nominal 3/4" union would have roughly the dia you need. It might be worth getting say a 3/4" and 1" union, on the understanding that you can take one or both back if it doesn't fit. Screwfix do that I believe.

Oh great, so we`re still giving advice on an 18yr old air tank with a test pressure of 25 Bar that somebody has acquired not knowing if the pressure relief valve works or is even there!
