Hi zahir, You need to advertise and go self employed mate, work for yourself, Surely you know this though, Theres not many plumbing jobs outthere and times are hard at the minute but the only way you will get experience is by doing it yourself...

Thanks alot mate but actualy doing work without any experiance seems kinda hard ,ive done the theory sides to it but actual practical seems a challenge ,dont thing im that confident .need some time in the field ,but thanks for your concern and reply joe

the only way you're going to get confidence and experience is to get out there and start working. start small with tap changes etc and work up to bigger things as your confidence and experience grows.

Yeh guess your right steve thanks for your help mate.i can do tap changes and small things ,can you tell me how to start about like ?to actualy find work doin small things ?sorry i might sound sill but ive never done this sort before only at home and a few properties i have i d omost of the work .ive installed a diverter valve in a boiler and it started working fine, and changed quite a few taps etc .What i need to know is how do i start out ?like find people needing small work like this done ...how did you guys start off with your careers ? many thanks guys i thot id never get help .av good day .

advertise, make some leaflets, get your name out there, it all cost's though

If your not working for somone to show you how to do things properly and share thier exp with you, then how do you know your doing somthing correctly/most efficiently?, doing things by trail and error is no good for you or the customer.

ask at your local plumbers merchants if you can leave a card in thier window offering to work for free say one day a week in return for experience of working with plumber....and take it from there good luck
regards turnpin🙂

I disagree completely, Without experience to work in a clients home I think you are asking for trouble.

First join Ciphe then ask around locally if you can gain any experience with a plumber or heating engineer, just to see how they carry out work in an "on the job environment" much much different to a class room.

If things go wrong you have someone to fall back on for advise and also to put it right if you can't.

You will get one chance in most peoples houses don't make a mistake and go gong ho we are constantly putting right these six weeks plumber cock ups
All the best and hope you make it work it's extremely hard at the moment.

Pureplumber mate i see your website looks real good do you guys take any aprentice /mates etc..?
Anyone else that can help ?
Many thanks guys.

Contact Ciphe and ask them for all the plumbing companies with the E1 to E16 for example, they should supply these or tell you where you could find them.
Unfortunately we are letting people go not taking them on at the moment.
In my opinion you have come into this industry at a really difficult time.
You will need to be able to accept negative responses, but if your serious keep with it.
These times will see a lot of plumbers fall by the wayside don't be one of them.
