Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well. Just wondering if anyone has had an experience of this new platform of Plumber At Hand? I have been seeing lots of adverts for it recently.

If anyone that's doesn't know it involves customers instead of call outs or in a tricky situation video calling you. You can see what the problem maybe, explain how to fix or help in what way you can and then its upto to whether you want their business or not. I was quoted £15 per call you take.

Could this be a glimpse into the future?

Thank you Ryan

Can`t seem to find a web page for them, would you have a link?
Opps, slight typo on the keyboard this end.
Thanks for the link Ryooo I`ll take a nosey.

Wonder how many customers will take a punt @£25, I for one wouldn`t be telling them my tricks but if I got a job out of the video call well it ......................

Yeah that's funny, I don't think many would pay £25.00. Most would rather watch a youtube video and have a go themselves. It's interesting though. I've done a few video calls lately with my customers. I'd like to hear see their face if I said I was going to charge them £25 for a video call.

Looks like from their website it's an American company and their cut is 40% which seems a bit steep to maintain a website.

Doesn't look like they have done their search engine optimisation very well yet.

Cheers,

Roy
