plumber becoming gas certified

I’ve been a plumber in Scotland for over 20 years and have owned my own bathroom and kitchen business for the past 8 years.

I am hoping to become gas certified and was just after some advice on the best way to go about it?

Is it the same access path as in uk?
ACS course at local training center.
I had 5 years gas experience and a plumbing NVQ so at the time I qualified for a quick access shortened course, finding a provider that recognised that and was setup to provide it was very difficult.
Once I found one that consistently told me the truth (as I knew it to be) I traveled to them and stayed out for the week.
Without a valid qualification it was a six week course back then.
I don't really know the setup now tho...?

Once your in, its easy to pick up extra 'tickets'.
Domestic core and a couple of appliances is the usual starting point.
I did commercial first as that was what I worked with.
My commercial to domestic changeover always confuses the training center on reassessment I think.

I'm currently in my mlp course and it's my first time.
I just wondered if anyone could ease my mind and tell me what I'll be expected to do on my practical assessment at the training centre?

It should all be laid out for you.
The course I would guess is designed to teach what you need to know.
