Plumber needed NW1 London for 28/06/2013

Hi,

One of your members has just come to carry out a temporary repair to our bath. He has recommended that we post in this forum to see if a plumber would be able to come out on 28th June to NW1 (South Camden) to fit a new bath waste and seals (traps are okay).

Because I got the callout at 11PM, and despite carrying lots of spares on the van, including traps, I don't carry bath or basin wastes. The captive nut in the bottom of the waste, that the screw through the strainer tightens on to, had broken off and disappeared. I got it back together with a washer and nut as a temporary fix, but it needs a new waste & strainer. Easy job, but I was fully booked on Friday. I really thought someone may have picked it up..

They insisted on wanting it done on Friday. Understandable as there are 4 people in the flat and only one shower. I'm in Manchester for the weekend, so couldn't even do it Friday evening as I had to leave. That's why I suggested that they post on here... Anyway, Stan responded, so maybe it's sorted, or maybe their landlord took care of it..

Hi, thanks to everyone who responded. Sorry for the lack of response, the job got done on Friday by a plumber in the Camden area, we were desperate!!
