It's still all the same, all logins and details work the same, all links in emails should forward you to the new domain.

If you spot any images or links not working then please click report post on the post with the issue. If it's not contained within a post then please link me to it by replying to this thread.

Thanks for you help.

Any questions?

Hi Dan

I think that you may have missed a '/' off the end of a redirect instruction. For example if I use a URL such as:

Code:
[URL unfurl="true"]http://plumbersforums.net/whats-new/[/URL]

it redirects to

[URL unfurl="true"]https://www.plumberstalk.netwhats-new/[/URL]

which returns a "can't find the server 'www.plumberstalk.netwhats-new'" error.

(This matters because it'll take a long time for bookmarks, search engines, etc. to all start using the new server name.)

While I have your attention, the animated 'Plumbing Videos' strip at the top of this (and every page?) slides left by one frame every one second, which I find distracting/annoying. Would it be possible to have them static, or at least much less active? Maybe an account preference to allow people like me, who are sensitive to visual-field motion, turn off the movement?

You're going from http to https there mate.

What's new - https://www.plumbersforums.net/whats-new was the URL. And that works fine.

Edit: Yeah, everything is working fine mate. Just need wait 4 hours from when you visited it weird and it should clear your cache by then and you pick it up right.

And / Orrrr the bookmark you had saved using http:// was incorrect and not sure would have worked anyway.

Give it a day and let's see. For now I've disabled those links because I don't want Google to pick them up weird.

I've now disabled the auto-play site-wide mate. I don't think it'll be staying there to be honest.

New logo I'm considering.
