I have pipework laid out as in the first of the two attached pictures (please excuse the magnificent artwork 😉).

If I routed the return flow down into a loop similar to that shown in the second diagram, am I likely to run into any problems?

I have no room in the airing cupboard to add the Magnaclean. Any other/better suggestions?

Didn’t want to start another Magnaclean thread for this….

Can you / should you - install a vertical Magnaclean on a ‘falling’ return pipe. I’ve only seen these at the bottom of loops, or on rising piping work (I.e the water is flowing upwards)
