Plumbing for a Magnaclean

I have pipework laid out as in the first of the two attached pictures (please excuse the magnificent artwork 😉).

If I routed the return flow down into a loop similar to that shown in the second diagram, am I likely to run into any problems?

I have no room in the airing cupboard to add the Magnaclean. Any other/better suggestions?

As the return is so close to the ceiling it looks like I will still need some sort of loop, or I will not be able to remove the magnet. 🤔

So it can be installed in horzontal pipework and rotated horizontally to withdraw the magnet during cleaning?

The Spirotech Magnabooster 3 has the correct orientation and the magnet withdraws downwards. Any experience of that, or reason not to consider?

Didn’t want to start another Magnaclean thread for this….

Can you / should you - install a vertical Magnaclean on a ‘falling’ return pipe. I’ve only seen these at the bottom of loops, or on rising piping work (I.e the water is flowing upwards)
