Hi all
I've only recently passed 6129 etc, and gone out on my own.I'm just enquiring if there are any people posting on here from or with experience of plumbing in Canada.
My wifes from Canada and has got her British citizenship along with itchy feet and wants us to move to Canada.
I was just after a bit of insight etc, etc (we're going over to Canada Christmas) and she wants me to apply for my visa when we get back.
I will ask her family and friends etc when over there, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks

Never mind, just go, our government has just handed fiscal regulation to Europe, the city, which makes the majority of our income will be stripped, as companies up and move to canada, usa and oz. Google this and watch Sarkozy's speech in disbelief.

Been looking a going for a while. There are a lot of differences over there. for starters you need a plumbing licence in most states to carry out work.
Also plumbing is split into specialisations.
You could do with your nvq level 2 as a min to show you have trade experience.
But your best bet is go out there and give it a go and try getting in with a company.

love it,
went there when i was 17/18 for 5-6 weeks as my uncle lives there, alberta.
one of the best places on earth for environment and people.
my uncle, an electrical engineer/ lecturer, offered to sponsor me to go to college and get residency, i declined because i was missing the lads down the pub. **** **ad.
i allways promised one day i shall return and as things are at the moment, well i am down to spain, new zealand and canada, cant wait.

got a mate who went there, never returned home, studied joinery. he now has his own company with employees 5 bed house swimming pool etc, lives in torronto.
