Plumbing Teacher a problem

Hi all, I have aproblem with my teacher .He is a new teacher that has only just started teaching but all already he is creating divisions and tensions in the class. He has already divided us in to good students and bad students and has told one person that he won,t become a plumber .There was a racism argument just a couple of weeks ago ( we were only talking about Micheal Jackson) which led to him and a student arguing against each other .It was only sorted out when the manager of the collage got involved. I don,t like this teacher other teachers don,t like him .Theres a bad atmosphere in the class and thats because of him creating tensions ill feelings in the class.He is the only teacher that is doing plumbing so he feels the collage cannot get rid of him. I wish they would .

Sounds tough. Only thing I can tell you from experience is that you are going to find a lot of these people throughout your life. I'm 40 years old have dealt with a lot of people like him. We do trade exhibitions and its amazing how many people wont let you show or explain anything. Have set minds. Upset everyone. Its annoying !

he sounds like an awful teacher, telling people they will never succeed is a huge red flag, see if you can find another college and transfer or something, other than that all you can do is complain, but as the only plumbing lecturer there and the fact they have a course to run i doubt anything will come of it.

if all your class feels the same, a group complaint is better than an individual complaint.
an invitation to your local paper, and advising your college of this with mention of the racial discrimination would work wonders today in our pc enviroment. you have a lever use it.

complain to the head of the department go higher if need be.... i have a tutor like this at the moment she is a pain in the arse she also thinks its fine to throw metal set squares at students and rip the **** out of everyone whilst contradicting herself with verything she does its pretty **** to be honest but all i can do is have to listen to her **** until i finish the course (being the only other female on the course that i can talk to aswel its quite hard to get on with her) all i do is make a complaint each week and get people to back me up with what she does you should try it
