Help needed please. I had a combi boiler installed with some replacement downstairs rads. There was a system flush and a magna clean fitted. The problem is the downstairs radiators will not heat up much. They wont go beyond lukewarm. The upstairs ones get lovely and hot. There is no air in the system and the balancing is correct. I have tried turning upstairs rads down and even shutting them off completely. The downstairs rads remain lukewarm. I have also tried turning up the pressure but the problem remains. The pipes to the rads are quite warm but not overly hot.
I would appreciate any suggestions please ad my family are fed up of going to sit upstairs to keep warm in the evenings despite the mild weather.I should have said that the installation was in May of this year so we didnt use the heating at that time. But we have only recently began to put the heating on as we havent needed it due to the recent mild weather. Also we had worcester bosch out as it is under a guarantee but they cannot find a boiler fault. So I am wondering if it is a system layout fault. Our 25 year old standard floor boiler kept all of the rads very warm.

i would say as its just been installed get the installer back

did you have new trv's fitted?
sounds like they are one directional and there is a flow cross-over to the downstairs rads!
