Hi

The hot water pressure is very poor in my house and just wanted to pick the experts brains to see what you think

The hot water cyclinder is approx 1.5m below the cold water tank in the loft so there is plenty of head height between the two.

Someone in work told me that it could be that the gate valve is faulty / partially blocked or there is a blockage in the pipe between the tank and the cylinder.

Does this sound like a possible cause and what would be the solution and associated costs to fix?

Many Thanks
Lauren

It could be that some debris from the cold water feed tank has got into the pipe down to the cylinder. More likely than a gate valve suddenly not working, particularly if you haven't been using it.
