Hi All,

A customer has complained of poor hot water pressure which he believes is due to the hard water he receives. He claims that in the past he has needed to replace tap bodies due to the build-up.

Currently all hot water outlets have very low pressure. Would you recommend me flushing the pipe work with a chemical limescale cleaner? If so what product do you recommend?

Once the pipe work has been cleaned I'm thinking of recommending a Magnetic/Electrolytic scale inhibitor. Again any recommendations on brand?

Thanks for your help!

Cheers
Charlie

The property is a bungalow but does have roof space. I will check the head on the cwsc tomorrow when I call over. If I can raise it further I will, however he is adamant that this issue is getting worse over time.

What do you think of my other options to flush the pipes and install a scale inhibitor onto the cold mains?

Thanks
