Hi Folks, I've just been to a customer who is getting very little hot water from her combi. Radiators seem fine and the diverter valve and pump are operating normally (spindle on the diverter valve moves and brings boiler on). So now I am thinking maybe the water/water heat exchanger is choked - does anyone have any alternative ideas or things I could check - Cheers:)

Hi
I realise that this thread is now very old. But having the exact same problem with my own Trio I was wondering if you managed to cure the problem. I too was thinking down the same lines as you with a possible blockage in the DHW heat exchanger, although my problem is intermittent from one day or week to another and only seems to occur during the colder months. When the DHW tap is turned on, the water pipes at each end of the pump get only warm, but when the tap is turned off the water through the pump gets good and hot for the CH. Diverter valve has been replaced by me as I thought it maybe wasn't switching over fully, but didn't cure the problem.

Kind regards
