Just had a roast duck with saute potatoes and cauliflower cheese, out of this world, we had to make a port and orange reduced sauce. Stunning!

Here is the problem as the port was opened it had to be drunk half a bottle each and very much the worse for wear! it is taking all my concentration to write this. Port is the work of the devil.

I suppose though if your north of the Watford gap you won't understand anything that isn't fried mars bars and stella?:50:
 
If you liked the cooking port try a nice Late Bottled Vintage or a full Vintage. They are lush. I'm a sucker for a good port.
 
Get a blue WKD and mix it with a few shots of port in a pint glass. It's called cheeky vimto and its amazing. :)
 
Got drunk on a fair few of them when I was younger!

I love them. I don't drink lager, alcho pops is what i drink. Not a fan of WKD on its own but mixed with port it's amazing.

Turbo shandys are ok if you want to get smashed quickly.

not got the roast duck but i have port so i am having a glass maybe two
 
Damn, just had a couple of whiskies sitting listening to some music, hoping to get lucky later and the moment has gone, Mrs's squirrel has gone from cool, chilled out to giggling, that means....... flying solo now:willy_nilly:
 
im from north of watford mate and trust me people around here cant afford stella and got no port so i will join you with a pint of smiths.

I'd rather neck Turps than drink WKD!!

Don't drink anything the same colour as antifreeze.
 
Try a drop of port in a pint of Guinness, it's lush.Oops i mean Bostin.
 
Thursday night at pool, the opposition provided us with a very good home made meat and potato pie, mushy peas, beetroot pickle and guiness hp sauce.

Never seen guiness hp sauce before, but that was lovely :)
 
Nope, it's got to daddies red. Or mayo if I'm feeling a bit racy.
