student plumber
Hi all, not sure about this post but here goes, no one likes to be exploited and you could be next.
I worked for someone some months ago and about the time I left they were going to have a toilet turned into a wet room. I'm not sure if the plumber realised the trouble he's in for, they abuse anyone, mess them about and take them for granted.
Think Leona Helmsley from the U.S. giving her maids grief and calling everyone else little people and you're on the right wavelength.
They broke a number of laws with previous staff and staff after me but how can I warn plumbers or other trades (a tradesmen did have problems when I was there), without opening myself upto problems with the fuzz😀, you know the sort of thing in the paper, you try and sort out a problem but instead they end up knocking on your door🙁.
I tried that website set up by the builder who knocked down a porch he built and removed a conservatory from a council house because the tenant wouldn't pay up, but got no reply. I also thought about Watchdog but they seem to prefer going after tradesmen passed on from Trading Standards.
What I've described is about a thousandth of the report I passed onto the authorities but people like that will find ways to get around it, they think the law doesn't apply to them. Any ideas anyone.
Forgive the cryptic text but I edited it just in case, so it doesn't get blocked.
