Re: Gas explosion Manchester

We always hear about the explosion but never the fall out or if someone was tampering

Re: Gas explosion Manchester

Biasi? Saunier Duvall?
Seems there was a fire then the explosion.

Re: Gas explosion Manchester

Looks like and old Vaillant vu. Could be balanced or conventional flue.

Re: Gas explosion Manchester

Good grief, it's pretty bad when we are try to figure out what the boiler when the house is in bits. Although I'm glad I was able tell what it was

Re: Gas explosion Manchester

Not sure what happened but it did say that the guy that died was a double lung transplant patient so he probably had a few oxygen tanks lying around. May not of been the cause but I bet it didn't help. RIP and what a terrible way for anyone to go.

Re: Gas explosion Manchester

It does sound logical, with the fire first then an explosion, think it is leaning towards the oxygen.
