Put new fill and flush valve in two WC's. Done this job many hundreds of times, never have any callbacks. One toilet fine, the other one has like annoying infrequent drip, drip from inside the pan. I checked the flush seal, sealing surface inside cradle nice and smooth, tried a new valve in original cradle even though doubted this was an issue. Still happens.
My guess is the internal pathways the flushing water comes through has some sort of obstruction/deposit/scale somewhere so that some water from the flush is being slowed down on it's way through. They say it mainly gets noticed happening in the hour or so after a flush and when not been used for while it's not happening. Seems to support my theory.
Any tips/tricks for this? Or is it new loo time?
Thanks
