Wondering if you guys could help?

Potteries Gas Services are based in Stoke on Trent, but online they have no reviews?!?

website - potteriesgasservices.co.uk (place the www. at the start)

They've quoted for a new combi-boiler (WB jounior) plus 4 new rads and thermostats as well as moving a few rads to new walls.

Their quote seems ok although it was a verbal and not written. (should I have got a written one?)

Has anyone heard anything about them?

PM me if you prefer not to write in the public eye

Thanks in advance

If you are going to accept a verbal quotation for works to be performed to this magnitude by a company that you know nothing / very little about, then you and the company may end up with a dispute.
The job doesn't sound like a small job - money wise or labour wise!

Get a written quote, detailing the scope of works to be performed.
This may save headaches in the future!!

As a contractor - I would never do works to this degree without providing a detailed quote, unless I knew the customer very well or have done works for in the past.
Even still - I would provide a written quotation to make matters clear.
