hi all
wondering if you can help, i have attended a kingfisher mf rs 60 boiler to replace a gas valve reported faulty checked and solenoid on pilot was naked. replaced valve and then what happens is - boiler goes through its sequence fan runs pump, boiler ignites pilot, pilot stays on and main flame ignites, then for no reason main flame drops out at different intervals but my gas valve still has around 210vdc according to potter ton it requires 190vdc minimum,
thought faulty valve, returned and replaced valve still same, changed pcbs still same, potter ton are not helping as they are suggesting faulty valve again,
does the pilot stay lit on these boilers or is it only meant to light when a demand is there ?
thanks
