Hi folks

Just a question about flame rectification. I'm having a mind blank here so does anyone know where the flame rectification device is on this boiler? I'm guessing it's meant to be somewhere around the pilot flame but it looks like there's only the pilot burner and the spark electrode. Could it be anywhere else?

sorry but is this a floor standing potterton kingfisher and are you planning on working on it???i think you will find its not open flue and i am guessing again you are not a gas engineer so would advise against working on your boiler

The floor standing Potterton Kingfisher I'm working on IS open flued and I am a gas engineer thanks. :) Are you able to answer my original question at all?

the flame rectification probe has to sit in the pilot flame at all times, regardless of make and model.

go to manufacturers website, download the information you require, with regard to how to replace.

The standard potterton kingfisher floor standing boilers do not have flame rectification on them just thermocouple with p/p
they came in c/f and b/f
The later potterton kingfisher mk was the last model before discontinued this was a open flued appliance with a fan unit fitted this had flame rectification
