A bit more info needed on the model potterton larsson67 ... why do you ask, by-the-way?

Potterton netaheat 10 16 mk 2f

basically fan has power and is running , but pressure switch isn't switching unless restrictor is taken out of pressure tube which suggests either the fan isnt creating enough pressure or the pressure switch is sticking and requiring more pressure than usual
tech helpline didn't seem to know too much about the boiler but one guy said the resistance should be 90ohms , I got a reading of 62.2 ohms

change both and your covered as both old and failing anyhow

I'd change the aps first.
I suppose tech wouldn't know much about a 30 year old boiler, it's not on their crib sheet.

The fans are defo available changes one two week ago. Death trap of a boiler though IMHO

I would be checking the integrity of the boiler casing and seals first of all. The back of these boiler tend to rot and it is not always easy to see.

A method I've used to check the integrity of the boiler casing/rear on the Netaheats (but make sure the customer is out of the room and the windows to outside are open. (assuming the boiler is on the ground floor) run the fan with the gas turned off to the appliance and the casing on. Direct the smoke from a small smoke pellet into the air intake on the flue terminal. If the rear of the boiler has failed, it will soon tell you.

Just do combustion analysis. Reduced air flow through the boiler secondary combustion above the burner causes very bad readings.
