Hi guys, working on above boiler, fan not running , flushing red under the fan sign. Fan spins freely , no power going to the fan. Any ideas? Cheers :santa_smiley:

U tested that there is no power? Reset boiler and test fan power when in demand? Fan common fault or if no power i would be looking at p c b ? Any juice across apc? Assume not in thermal cut out?

Short out apc and should get ignition ?

Cheers for the quick reply. Tried resetting still no power to the fan, I thought PCB as well following the fault finding chart .

You got to check the aps first flesi .. this boiler checks that the aps has shut off before it'll operate the fan? A cheaper bit to swap if you're not sure its the fan IMHO ... :)

I.e juice across it? Potential difference between pins? As broken circuit then if no pd across it u have a stuck aps?

It's definitely not the fan, no power to the fan. Checked the APS pins on the plug A2 on PCB , open circuit between 8 & 9, continuity between 6 & 8. Haven't tried to disconnect the APS. I'll try that first.
