Potterton Prima fan

Evening People.

Was working on a brokdown Prima 50F today. I was getting 78 ohms resistance from the fan and had 240v at the fan but it wasn't budging. Called Baxi, they said it must be bust but didn't give me much of an explanation. If I'm getting the correct readings at the fan what was the problem with the fan?

If it smells like shyte it probably is shyte. Swap the fan.

I replaced the boiler so theres no hassle there. just wanted to know for future reference.
