Can anyone tell me where i can source a Heat exchanger for the above boiler Baxi who now own Potterton have said it is obsolete, i did find it through 1 Company who wanted £711 for 1 which is daylight robbery the part is needed for a pensioner who is low income so looking for the best possible price if anyone can help it would be most appreciated

Yeah just trying to save some money for my mother in law but might have to bite the bullet thanks anyway
 
then add labour......you are most definately better off getting a new boiler,like you said parts are becoming obsolete for this boiler. So if you get the h/e done and summat else goes on the boiler and you can't get that part you will have wasted the best part of £700 trying to repair it.......you can get a decent new boiler for that much!! will work out cheaper in the long run.
