Hi to everyone 😛

My potterton puma has developed a strange fault in that it will work all day supplying hot water and not miss a beat, after lights out and were all in bed, i can wake up in the morning 7 - 8 hrs later and find it "locked out" and need to reset via the button.

Water pressure is fine, pressure guage mid green so nothing obvious going on.

It doesn't seem to be coming out on overtemp as it can supply hot water for a bath and not trip at all (have done this several times and waited for the boiler to go cold so to speak), heating side seems ok, tho not required considering the 28 plus outside temps at the moment...

Any ideas would be appreciated

Dennis

Change the clock so it thinks it is night and see if it does it during the day!!!!! if that makes sense..................if so would be looking at the pcb

inbuilt clock isnt in use, the CH side is controlled by a RF room stat which is set at 15c so not likely to call for heat - DHW is set to always on - i'm beginning to lean towards the pcb which is a bummer 🙁
