I will be servicing one of these next week but not touched one for years.
It’s the older non HE type
Any common issues to look for?

Cracked heat mat on the Burner front panel you remove.

That’s about it, they’re a good boiler other than their dodgy circuit boards.

Also check the flue elbow they fall apart and leak

Like buses, been asked to service another

Some other jobs got cancelled so I did both services yesterday.
No major drama s, both had noises fans but probably not worth replacing due to the price
One was on a sealed system and had crusty connections on the hex
