Evening ladies and gents,

Ive got a job coming up converting a gravity system to a combi. Reasonably straight forward job but in the bathroom theres a power shower. Looks like a b&q special, called "essentials". Are these types of shower compatible with a combi? It has a gravity hot and a gravity cold which with both be converted so that the cold is mains fed and the hot off the combi.
Any advice would be great from blues, reds and greens alike!:D

so when the shower is sucking in the cold, where does the hot come from?.
might work with a ballancer, but unreliable temp when another outlet is opened!.
change it for a mixer. imo/

It will leak on the seals straight away, and it is illegal to pump off the mains with a non specified device

Sheff Paul is right the o rings inside will not be able to with stand the pressure. IMO I would but them in a electric shower so that in the future if the combi breaks down they will still have washing facilities a bit like a immersion on a hot water cylinder.
