I recently wached the video how to install the water supply system and would like to know, is anybody have used them. What do you think about PPR plastic pipes? Is there anything good or bad to use them?
Looks really easy to work with them.

Seems that it is a cheepest way to do that.

What I have heard and from my own experience; PPR pipes are amazing they can do the job for copper pipes without been as expensive.
I myself bought my pipes and fittings from Raktherm Uk and was bit hard to find a plumber that can install them for me. I was lucky as I managed to contact an Italian plumber in UK who was familiar operating them in Italy and installed them for me. I tried to took larger one 20mm so wouldn't have any low pressure problem and they just work fine so far and never had any leak problem since I installed them.

It would have to be really cheap before I was interested, in fact if you pay me to install it and supply the product free of charge I might consider using it on me next job

No I tried to put the link and some how got all the key words. I am not here to advertise.

I bought it myself before I tried to find someone to install it but no offence I don't trust UK plumbers they are just for easy money and never finish the job.
I usually go for Italian or Polish plumbers they do the the full work efficiently

Dont want to state the obvious Tarik but uh this IS a forum for UK plumbers hence ukplumbersforums.co.uk as the web address for this site suggests!

No offence to polish or italian plumbers but us UK plumbers do a grand job and do it in an efficient manner, the reason why we charge so much is because we do a proper job unlike some others who dont!

Your not here to advertise but it is just a coincidence that you come on at the same time someone mentions it and it's your first post then you have the cheek to say British plumbers are only init for money and don't finish anything
Your a great salesman Lol
Now time for you to say goodbye

Sorry, if I have offended anyone, I am just judging from my own experience but of course there many excellent UK plumbers, it's just they are not familiar with PP-R welding yet.

And with a sales pitch like yours can't see us using it either

Pretty sure that is a racist an unfounded comment and therefore the moderators should remove that post. NOT COOL.......

I would just like to say that I am not offended in the least as I work to live, not live to work, and if the poles and the italians want to work fer nothing more fool them I say.

As for the product you mentioned yes to be honest there are certain aspects of it that interest me but as far as I am concerned at this moment I have never seen it before therefor I would be hesitant to use it, there are many companies in the uk producing this type thing already I recall that there is a huge housing estate in Northampton built in the late 70s early 80s that is full of something like this, I am sure any guys from Northampton on the forum can confirm this.

I would say that If PPR want to pay me for my time and supply me with one jobs worth of materials and tools I will be more than happy to supply a test job on the understanding that if the job is unacceptable then PPL can pay for the whole job to be done in copper

If you have your own welding machine I will be more than happy refer you to other customers

Welding machine??????? I have a rothenberger quickfire 2 that doubles as me *** lighter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PPR or PP-R or Polypropylene Random Copolymer is one of the latest pipes resulting from European advanced technology of gos. Its raw materials, a propylene random copolymer, are imported from Europe. The quality of our PP-R pipes is entirely up to the standard of DIN8077/8078 of Germany. It's not produced in UK unlike what Gray0689 stated.. They are widely used in Germany, Italy, Spain and France but very rarely used in UK. Like what for ex Durapipe sell is a Wefa PP-R which is German comany and also sold to pipe centre

Direct word for word from the web site, and your not selling?

Fittings look a bit bulky and clumsy for anything visible!
