Is there any alternative way of capping 3/4" pipe other than comp+3/4 olive?

Anyone know when 28mm copper came out?

I imagine 28mm came out when it changed from imperial to metric, to cap off 3/4 inch I use 3/4x22mm end feed fittings from BES plumbing and then a 22mm end feed cap.

Theres still miles of imperial pipe around.

pulsar do 3/4 sweated caps apparently they still use imperial in Ireland they sent some by mistake recently

Plenty round here in sussex!

Its strange pipe, one end takes a 3/4 olive well but the other ends too loose , must just be bad pipe. No way you could tin the end to build it up in thickness?

I could take it back to the 28mm pipe and work on that... as long as it is 28mm and not 1" copper? 😱
