Hi
I have a Vailliant ecotec plus boiler its 9 mnths old and since the cold weather has been over last few weeks am having the following problem.
I need to boost the pressure up every 3 days or so , at least once a week the pressure has been down to zero so the heating has never started in the morning.
One night i left the heating on all night and it seemed to work wonders as in no pressure drop that 24hours ?
There was no probs in the summer with the boiler all was good, i am wondering if the boiler has been wired up wrong as in it doesnt start itself up when it gets to freezing temp this making it lose pressure ?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

The only way it can lose pressure is through a leak on the system or boiler or through a faulty PRV or expansion vessel. If it's only 9 months old I'd suggest you get the installer back.
