Pressure in all taps except one....

Hmmm, DIY plumber here. In the last week the hot tap in my bath has run to a trickle. I thought it was the pressure from my combi boiler but it's hasn't changed according to the dial. The hot and cold taps in the sinks around my flat are working fine and so is the cold tap in the bath.
I have a mixer tap in the bath with a shower fitting between the two taps.

Is it a case of undoing the tap and giving it a good descaling?

Or is there more to it than this?

that would be my first inspection point

The combi is fine if other taps are working so it maybe the jumper has failed or ceramic disc depending on the tap

Thanks for the swift reply, I think it's a jumper style tap, quite old fashioned. I'll have a go at undoing it and giving it a good scrub. Any advice / top tips for descaling?

just replace the jumper and it should be ok

You could soak the whole valve in a mild desclaer or white vinegar solution if it is bunged up
