Pressure Reducing Valve.

Hi, i'm having trouble with a prv, i fitting one to the mains supply and the flow rate is now pretty poor..

My thought was that a prv shouldnt really reduce the flow rate, but finding any info on flow rates regarding prv's seems pretty hard to find..

It shouldnt make any noticeable difference, whos the manufacturer ?

Does the prv have a filter? Might need a clean.

Its a caleffi 3/4, according to their technical sheet that will bring it down to 9LPM, I've just looked the valve up now..

I didnt buy the valve but assumed it would be better than 9lpm

I think they'd atleast want 15lpm, not sure which valve to get..

They couldn't help on Flow, good website tho..

They said i should get an adjustable PRV and that they can only tell me what bar they reduce down and not their flow rates..

He recommended a AWC PRV, 3-6bar 22mm..

The lad has a greenstar, hot water flow rate of 12.5lmp so a PRV giving 15LPM is all I need but I'm struggling .
