Hi all.. I've been asked to look at a large heating system - 30+ rads 20 rooms 4 inch CS pipe from boiler ! so i've been looking round the house with the new owners looking for a "fill point" and more to the point a large pressure vessel which there wasn't one apparent ? Am i looking for something that isn't needed on a very large system? I'd say the installation was at least 15 years old and a Boulter pathfinder oil boiler (just googled that to 1995) so more than 15 years, there is a 3bar PRV next to boiler however ? thank's in advance for any thoughts you may have :sorcerer:

Furry,

The very large system will have a very large F&E tank in the loft, I'd say the system is as old as me, what's 4" CS, did you mean 4" MS mild steel???
