Hi all, do you need to drain the boiler to "test" the charge on a pressure vessel or just when you pump it back up? Sure ive tested pressure when system full on a unvented separate vessel.

yes you need to have no water preasure on the diaphram or you will be measuring the head of water not the vessel charge
