As the title suggests, anyone had much experience with cylinders with a higher pressure rating?
i see megaflo do a commercial range that can run up to 10 bar.

Looking fir for suggestions for manufactures and what type/ size they use for pressure reducing valves .
its for a large house 9 bathrooms over four floors and the cylinder is going into the plant room in the cellar. Supply is no problem, as its fed by a 4000 litre storage tank and a large twin pump set.

pressure isn't your problem, flow will be, look at the andrews size it program and it'll give you an idea of what you need.

Thanks.
I'm ok with the size of cylinder and pipe work. The hot and balanced cold are being run in 35mm. Problem will be flow and pressure, as most cylinders come with a 22 mm pressure reducing valve. This will limit flow and therefore pressure .
Have been in touch with ACV, they specified an SLE 300. (They work on 60% water usage) this comes with 22mm toppings and 22mm prv.
The problem is that this customer has specified the system to be able to supply all outlets at the same time. ( and he will test!) just want to go slightly over the top.

Joule will make you a cylinder with whatever tappings you want, and honeywell do regulators in larger sizes 1" is the largest multibloc ive seen though so you will need a separate and adequately sized prv

sis this going to be run off a gas boiler if so something like a acv heatmaster may not be a bad shout [DLMURL="http://www.acv.com/int-en/03_10/11/app.rvb?prodfam=12"]HeatMaster - ACV[/DLMURL]

Depending on how deep your clients pockets are you could speak to ormandy rycroft tech although commercial they do tailor made ...regards Turnpin;)

Have a look at the Rinnai UK wesite.

They have options of cascading the units - infinity plus, or infinity plus storage.

We use them over here quite a lot for large domestic and commercial installations.
Never have had a problem with them delivering to amount of water required - as long as it's sized right.

Might be worth your while to investigate.

Should add - Bosch have the same setup -not sure whether they are available over there
